catAgeCalc turns cat years into human years and back. catAgeCalc does not collect, share or sell any information. It has no accounts, no ads, no analytics, no tracking and no in-app purchases. The app does not connect to the internet: every age calculation happens on your device.
What stays on your device
If you save a cat, catAgeCalc keeps these things on your iPhone or iPad only:
- the cat’s name, if you give one;
- the cat’s face (an emoji you pick);
- the cat’s birthday or the age you entered;
- which cat you last selected.
This data never leaves your device and we can’t see it. You can delete a cat at any time with Delete cat in the cat’s profile. Deleting the app deletes everything it saved. If your device backs up to iCloud or a computer, that backup may include this data, as with any app; we never see it.
Permissions
catAgeCalc does not ask for any permissions. It does not use your camera, photos, microphone, location, contacts or notifications.
Sharing
catAgeCalc only shares when you ask it to. When you tap Share on a result, the app makes a picture of the result card, which can include your cat’s name and age, and opens the standard iOS share sheet. You choose where it goes. The app itself sends nothing.
Children
catAgeCalc collects no personal information from anyone, including children. It has no ads, no links out and no purchases.
Third parties
catAgeCalc contains no third-party SDKs for analytics, advertising or tracking.
Changes
If this policy ever changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new date.
